Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig, in partnership with Canadore College, is now accepting applications for the Practical nursing program. Follow the steps below to submit your application and begin your journey in September 2026.
STEP 1: Download and fill out the application form
Download the Canadore College Student Application PDF and complete all required fields. You can access the form using the “Register Now” button on the Practical Nursing program page.
STEP 2: Gather your transcripts
Prepare your most recent transcripts. These may include one or more of the following:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
-
ENG4C or ENG4U
-
Grade 11 or 12 Science (C or U)
-
Grade 11 Math (C, U, or M)
Note: Recent College PSW graduates will be assessed for transfer credits in semester one.
STEP 3: Email your application and transcripts
Send your completed application form and your transcripts to one of the following:
STEP 4: Wait for a response from Canadore College
Canadore College will review your application and notify you about the status of your admission. Please keep an eye on the email address you provided on your application form.
STEP 5: Accept your offer and register
If you qualify, you will receive an offer letter from Canadore College.

Follow the instructions in your offer letter to accept your offer.

Once your offer is accepted, you will complete registration and be ready to begin classes in September.
