Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig invites scholars, practitioners, students, and community leaders to submit papers for our upcoming conference exploring the intersection of mental health and land-based healing. This conference seeks to bridge Indigenous healing practices with modern therapeutic approaches to foster reconciliation, community healing, and environmental justice.
Submission Guidelines:
- Abstracts (250 – 300 words) due by February 15th, 2025
- Please submit your abstract to rtorres@shingwauku.org
Conference Format: Hybrid
Registration Fee:
- Assistant/Associate/Full Professor: Cdn$200.00
- Practitioners: Cdn$150.00
- Community Members and Students: Free

We have secured a block of 20 rooms at the Delta Hotel for conference presenters and participants at a special rate of $135 per night.
