Call for Submissions – International Conference on Mental Health and Land-Based Healing

April 24th – 25th 2025 – Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig invites scholars, practitioners, students, and community leaders to submit papers for our upcoming conference exploring the intersection of mental health and land-based healing. This conference seeks to bridge Indigenous healing practices with modern therapeutic approaches to foster reconciliation, community healing, and environmental justice.
Submission Guidelines:
– Abstracts (250 – 300 words) due by February 15th, 2025
– Please submit your abstract to rtorres@shingwauku.org
Conference Format: Hybrid
Registration Fee:
– Assistant/Associate/Full Professor: Cdn$200.00
– Practitioners: Cdn$150.00
– Community Members and Students: Free
