🌟 Waawaaskonwe Niigaan: “There is a light ahead” 🌟

Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig is proud to partner with Algoma University’s Anishinaabe Initiatives, Actua, and the Algoma District School Board to host the 3rd Annual Waawaaskonwe Niigaan Indigenous Land-Based STEAM Camp!

📍 Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig, 1491 Queen St. E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON

This four-day camp invites Indigenous youth ages 12–18 to dive into Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) through a land-based and cultural lens. Participants will build friendships, connect with mentors, and gain valuable skills in leadership, environmental care, and community spirit — all in a fun, hands-on learning environment.

FREE to all Indigenous youth!
🪶 Includes swag, door prizes, and delicious meals.
🌿 Featuring special guest Ted Nolan, soon to receive the Order of Sport, Canada’s highest sporting honour!
